Cleveland State Global offers a streamlined admissions process for international students. Our admissions team will place you in the appropriate track for your needs. You can also access programs specifically designed for international students through UStart to help you gain entry into degree programs where you may still need to complete specific requirements. Final tuition is based on your enrollment track, and housing and dining selections. Find all important dates and start your application below.

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Cleveland State Global’ undergraduate degree programs are offered with different admissions tracks specifically designed to set international students up for success. Our admissions team will place you in the appropriate track for your needs.

UStart

UStart is a preparatory program that gives international students the chance to build academic skills and experience life in a new culture, with complete support every step of the way. The program is ideal for students who may not yet meet specific academic and/or English language entry requirements of most US university degree programs.

If a student does not obtain the minimum math placement test score required for first year students, the student’s program may be extended as necessary, and the student will either have to take a remedial math course or follow a self-study plan to improve their math skills and meet the fundamental requirements. This option may result in the extension of the student’s original study plan.

Dates & Costs

Shorelight Signature Student Experience services – including application assistance, visa help, student services, academic support, campus transition, and career services – are included in your Cleveland State Global program cost. Opt-in programs and services may cost extra. Fees for tuition, housing, dining, and additional services will vary by school, degree program, housing location and amenities, selected meal plan, and similar preferences.
